Sitting at the computer, I groaned with frustration.

"Something must be wrong with the modem, - it's taken five minutes to get on-line! I may have to change servers!"

Suddenly, I paused. Here I'm complaining about five minutes to access free global communication, when it took my grandparents days of treacherous travel just to reach the next Ukrainian town!

With the world at our fingertips, our expectations have risen dramatically. Things once impossible are now taken for granted. How daringly ahead of their times the ancient Hebrew prophets were to envision a totally unified world in the Messianic era.

Until recently, the Jewish prophecies of thousands of years ago seemed so unrealistic and otherworldly, as in the concluding Aleinu prayer: "All peoples will call upon Your Name... all inhabitants of the world will recognize and know You."

This all seemed so naive in the pre-internet world. How could all of mankind unite to do anything, when they could barely communicate?

Today's technology ushers us into a world of potential where spirituality can fuse with mundane life. The Moshiach process elevates the physical world, as current technology supports the development of ancient prophecies.

So don't be surprised when the day comes and your screen shines forth with World Wide Wisdom emanating from Al-mighty G-d, "for all the world will be filled with Divine knowledge as the waters cover the sea."

(Conclusion of Maimonides, from Isaiah)

Think Moshiach!
