The cakes edges are cut down to create a rounded look. The hamantash was actually made from 8 layers of cake, each sprinkled with Sabra liqueur in the Adloyada spirit. With 7 layers of Blackberry cream fillings, the total height was 15".
The cake was so large, we gave up on our traditional spatulas, and smoothed the chocolate frosting with gloved hands. |
