Summer Fun
Camp Gan Israel is centrally located in Woodbridge, CT at the spacious campus of the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven. Fully equipped with a large gym, playing fields,
playground and pool, the JCC facility is the perfect location for
summer fun and learning.
Our counselors, chosen for their warmth and dedication, create a nurturing environment in which our campers learn and grow.

Little Explorers:
Ages 2-4
In this specially-designed program little ones enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities, including water sports, arts and crafts, short field trips, story time, music and movement, challah baking and more.

Explorers Adventurers:
Ages 5-10
With an action packed calendar full of exciting trips, swimming, sports, gymnastics, crafts, and more, our children are always on the go.

Pioneers:
Ages 10-12
These divisions offer a complete program geared to the interests of 10-12 year olds. Participants will enjoy sports, art, dance, drama, woodworking, and more. A special grand trip is in store for this division as well.

Jewish Spirit
Our approach toward sharing our Jewish heritage is based on Ahavat Yisroel, with an open acceptance of every camper, regardless of their background.
From Challah baking and Shabbat parties every Friday, to the songs we sing and the games we play, Judaism is an integral part of our day at camp.

Our campers look forward to each day’s activities and events and leave with an enriched sense of Jewish pride.

Swimming
Campers swim at the JCC supervised by Red Cross certified lifeguards. Swimming instruction is also provided.

Field Trips
Trips are scheduled weekly for all groups. Our campers will visit and experience the best Connecticut has to offer.

Special Days
In-camp special days, including Carnivals, Waterworks, and Color War, will provide
children with a day filled with fun.

Performing Arts
A professional actor will lead our campers through a weekly dance and drama class. Preschool campers will
participate in a weekly music and
movement class with Music Together.

Choice Time
Children can elect to participate in the following options: baking, crafts, science and sports, all taught by professional instructors.

Get Active
With gymnastics and sports, provided by In-Flight Gymnastics and the New England Academy of Sports, campers will hone their game and learn new skills under the guidance of
professional instructors.
